themisim.validate_index(artifacts, *, nprobe=64, prefilter=500, k=10, n_queries=200, nprobe_sweep=None, prefilter_sweep=None, seed=0, thresholds=None, reference=None, spec_name=None, timings=None, build_device=None, engine=None)

Run every check against artifacts and return the report dict.

thresholds overrides DEFAULT_THRESHOLDS key by key. The report’s passed field is the AND of every check that reached a verdict; checks that were skipped (no reference vectors, database too large for exhaustive ground truth) report None and neither pass nor fail the run.

The engine is constructed directly rather than through themisim.query.get_engine so a validate-after-rebuild in the same process cannot pick up a cached engine over the previous memmap.
