About

Jeremiah W. Johnson is a mathematician and machine learning/artificial intelligence research scientist. Jeremiah's Ph.D is in computational abstract algebra, and his current research focuses on self–supervised learning and applications to magnetospheric physics. He is also interested in quantitative finance and applications of machine learning and AI to financial markets. Jeremiah's research is funded through over $1m in grants from NVIDIA, NASA, and the National Science Foundation. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the department of Applied Engineering and Sciences at the University of New Hampshire, where he directs and teaches in undergraduate and graduate programs in analytics and data science.
